About: Disciplines have much to learn from each other in developing new methodologies, theories and applied insights to make sense of our age of grand challenges. Many of these challenges assume novel, unpredictable forms and solutions that grow in the common ground between fields. Building on the threefold success of the International Symposium in Finance (2018, 2019, 2022), this multidisciplinary event brings together academic researchers and decision makers across disciplines and communities of practice in business and management (including finance, accounting, IB, marketing, HR, strategy, operations, OR, innovation, entrepreneurship, economics). Specific focus will be provided by the BAM Special Interest Groups in Financial Management, International Business & International Management, and Corporate Governance that will organise paper workshops and activities for their members and other delegates. There will be a strong emphasis on capacity building, with informal support and drop-in sessions provided in raising one’s work to the next level. It will take place during a 4-night cruise onboard the Celestyal Olympia ship visiting Lavrio/Athens, Mykonos, Kusadasi, Patmos, Rhodes, Crete, Santorini. In addition to full conference facilities and a rich academic program, the venue will enable effective networking along with a great schedule for social and cultural activities.

Paper Submission: Papers or extended abstracts should be sent as an electronic copy in PDF format to submission@is-business.org by May 15th, 2023 for review. We follow a rolling acceptance system whereby authors are notified of the review decision within two weeks of submitting their paper. Acceptances will be limited to facilitate interaction.
